Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil

Squalane (Vegetable)

Our skin produces small amounts of squalane, but as we age this production declines. Squalane oil has a similar structure to our skin and it can be easily absorbed to fight against dryness and to keep skin smooth and elastic.

Squalane was traditionally obtained from shark liver oil. Now a vegetable alternative has been found, using the unsaponifiables of olive oil. Olives contain the highest percentage of squalane amongst all commonly known vegetable oils.

The properties of squalane for the skin are:

  • Prevents ageing
  • Smooths out wrinkles
  • Prevents the formation of dark patches on the skin
  • Treats problems such as psoriasis, eczema, cracked skin, dermatitis, rashes, etc.
  • Helps prevent damage caused by ultraviolet rays
  • Helps the skin retain moisture.
