Rosa Damascena Destillate

Rosa Damascena Distillate

Rosa Damascena is small plant with 30 petals per flower. It is native to North Africa and was introduced into Bulgaria in the mid-sixteenth century by the Turks. It was later discovered that this region had unique climate conditions and soil composition for the growth of this rose variety. This is currently the only region in the world where high-quality Rosa Damascena grows. Indeed, this area has been christened the Rose Valley.

The distillation of Rosa Damascena petals, using spring water, delivers a hydrolate with a similar pH to that of our skin and with countless beneficial properties for it. It is suitable for all skin types but is especially helpful for skin that is sensitive, mature, irritated or affected by excessive seborrhea, as well as in cases of acne or couperose.

It has toning, moisturising, calming, antiseptic, astringent, anti-inflammatory, decongestant, soothing and anti-wrinkle properties.
