Aniba Rosaedora (Brazilian Rosewood) Oil

The essential oil Aniba Rosaeodora is extracted from the bark of the tree of same name. It is native to Brazil and can reach up to 40 metres in height and 1 metre in diameter. Amazon people would use the bark of this tree for the clear healing effect it has on the skin, as it combats wrinkles, cracked skins and scars, whilst also improving tone and elasticity.

Its active principles include a high linalool content. It also contains alpha-terpineol.

Recent research shows that this essential oil has the highest rate, amongst all the oils tested, of preventing growth of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. In turn, it is the oil with the highest level of skin regeneration and cell restoration properties. It also promotes healing of the skin.

This is a valuable essential oil with multiple healing, anti-infectious and sebum-regulating properties, being very useful for treating eczema, acne, stretch marks, cuts, sagging and wrinkles. It is suitable for all skin types, especially for sensitive and damaged skin.
